Nike VR Pro Blade Irons Review.

Nike’s latest and greatest addition to their VR range are the Nike VR Pro Blades. Through a combination of unrivalled craftsmanship and advanced technology, Nike have eliminated variance and enhanced control.

To produce a near finished club head, then Nike VR Pro Blade Irons utilise a new precision-forging technique using 1025 Forged Carbon Steel and are machined to precise tolerance. Each Nike VR iron is then milled to enusre a perfectly level club face, followed by the grooves being precision stamped onto the face. To create shot making consistency throughout the set, this process ensures the variance from club to club.

Due to the R&A and USGA changing the rules on grooves recently, Nike have introduced the x3x high frequency grooves, which result in a cleaner strike, a consistent ball flight and more spin. Still conforming to the new rules, Nike have given the clubface more grooves that are closer together and deeper than their predecessors.

Featuring Tour-ready control in a flatback design which is demanded by the world’s top players, the Nike Victory Red Pro Blades have it all. The new VR Blades incorporate the same grind and profile as the famous VR Forged TW’s, with a centre of gravity designed to provide the ultimate infeel and shot shaping capibilites. Fitted with the ever popular True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts, the Nike VR Pro Irons achieve a controlled ball flight with increased accuracy.

Nike continue to make great advances in technolgy and innovation and the VR Pro Irons are evidence of that. If they are used by the world’s best players, then why not you? Being of Tour quality, these clubs would be an excellent addition to any mid to low handicapper’s bag.
