Colin Montgomerie Looks To Push For Better Form

Surely Monty does not need to be worrying about looking into his ranks and getting them up again because he just captained the Ryder Cup and won it right?? Well let’s just say he has his reasons and they are all very good ones indeed. So onto this in some more detail.

Captaincy Gets You Nowhere

Of course being captain of the European team will earn your respect and even more so if the team goes on and wins it like it happened but the problem is it does not help bring the rank up. It all sounds a bit silly, why would someone actually want to be captain if they are not going to get anywhere with it all, rather strange?

because something like this is a big honour for a golfer you will find that the likelihood of them turning something like this down is very slim indeed, why would you do it after all?. As Monty pulled through and went on to win it it means he has earned a lot more respect because of it.

Whilst he was captain there were problems with his ranking as he didn’t get anywhere, in fact he fell from 135th to 425th which of course is not the right direction a professional golfer wants to head in. Something he was asked to do is captain the cup again in two years time but he has said no to this so he can get back into the top 50, makes sense really. Although it sounds like a unrealistic goal I reckon he can do it!!

All he really has to do is pick up his golf batteries as well as electric golf trolley batteries and lithium golf batteries and get playing again!

Of course if you fancy playing a golf (a lot of people do after watching the Ryder cup) then why not get out there and have a game, it is a relaxing sport if you are not hacking away at the ball and is great to play with mates!
