Lawless Sues LPGA For Blocking Her From Competing

Associated Press accounts indicate that Lana Lawless, a 57-year-old transgender golf player, has leveled a suit at the Ladies Professional Golf Association for blocking her from competition. A United States of America District Court in San Francisco will choose whether the LPGA’s rule that all rivals has to be “born female” is legal. Lawless states the policy violates CA civil rights laws. Lawless is asking the court to bar the LPGA from holding events in California and grant her damages from Long Drivers of America and their key sponsors.

Lana Lawless hit 335 yards in the RE/MAX World Long Drive Tournament. This made her the 2008 winner. She will no longer be allowed to compete with the Ladies Professional Golf Association standards that have been put in place. In 1977, transgender tennis pro Renee Richards started a suit that went to the new York Supreme Court, which Moonbattery compares to Lana Lawless’ suit. Next Moonbattery goes on to say that Lana Lawless is in the right court that is very liberal. Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker made a ruling in favor of gay marriages which means he’s probably a good judge for her.

Right Celebrityreports that when Lawless had been a man (known by a different name), he worked as a Special Weapons And Tactics cop for 18 years and also worked as a bartender in a Southern California city. Although Lawless was married, children weren’t within the picture. “I had a very tough and mean exterior. Individuals didn’t want to mess with me,” Lawless said. “But Lana had been always in there. I had started to go to Los Angeles to the clubs, playing dress-up on the weekends. However I wanted to be a normal girl.”

Competing like a normal girl

“I am a woman,” Lana Lawless insists. “I’ve lost muscle mass. I do not have big guns (biceps). They give you a drug that stops you from producing testosterone. Your muscles atrophy. I feel like I do not have any power.” Anything might change with an additional landmark legal ruling in her favor.
