How To Play Golf- Guide For Golf Beginners When Learning The Basics
While watching golf in TV, you might have observed several things. Players are of different sizes and shapes. They even have their own looks which are all very unique. From Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods and some others, they are all different. However, there is something common to all these- basics!
All these contain the basics with only few changes that can be observed.
Aim
All things in golf is anchored upon your target and how you aim is very crucial. A perfect swing aligned the wrong way will send the ball at a wrong direction. Most elite players keep an effort to aim the feet, knees, hips and shoulders parallel left of the ball to target line that the club is on. In order to get rid of the development of a swing based on alignment compensation, it is highly advisable to align feet, knees, hips and shoulders parallel left of the target line.
Stance
The stance is the platform for the swing. This requires a mixture of mobility and stability to create an effective swing. For short irons, it is advised to have a stance width of hip width. this is measured from the outside hips going to the instep. With longer clubs including the driver, it is recommended to have a shoulder width stance. This time measured from the outside of the shoulder down to the instep. Stance actually ensures stability in base with accurate movement to accelerate the lower portion of the body during the downswing.
Ball position
This means, where the ball located in the stance depending to the feet. For a driver the ball should be located 1 ball width inside of the left heel with the stance shoulder width separately. For a wedge the ball should be positioned in the center of a hip width stance. The irons increasingly work down from a long iron being 2 balls inside the left heel and each iron more and more stirring back until such time that the wedge is positioned in the middle of the stance.
